Deputy Director of Management and Operation of An Giang Provincial Social Insurance Le Chi Thanh concluded the conference.

At the conference, the results of the implementation of tasks and targets up to March 2025 and the direction of tasks for April 2025 were evaluated. Accordingly, the Provincial Social Insurance performed well its role of advising the Party Committee, local authorities, and the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies to organize the implementation of tasks in 2025. Coordinated to guide and organize the implementation of new policies according to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Health Insurance amended and supplemented in 2024 and related legal documents.

As of March 20, the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance and unemployment insurance all increased compared to the same period. Specifically, the whole province had 133,449 people participating in social insurance (117,457 people participating in compulsory social insurance and 15,992 people participating in voluntary social insurance); 107,291 people participating in unemployment insurance; 1,662,153 people participating in health insurance.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Director of Management and Operation of Provincial Social Insurance Le Chi Thanh emphasized: “Units need to closely follow the locality to proactively orient the common tasks and propose specific scenarios for developing social insurance and health insurance participants for synchronous implementation, ensuring progress and set goals. Timely report to local Party committees, authorities and steering committees at all levels to effectively organize the implementation of social insurance and health insurance work in the locality”.

On this occasion, the Provincial Social Insurance awarded certificates of merit from the Prime Minister to 2 individuals; 3 collectives achieving the achievement of "Excellent Labor Collective" in 2024; 1 collective and 9 individuals received certificates of merit from the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance.
