In the 2023/24 Premier League, Man Utd scored only 13 goals, a number even less than the team currently second to last in the rankings (Everton - 14 goals). However, coach Erik ten Hag's students played brilliantly when returning to perform national duty. The list of goals scored in the EURO 2024 qualifiers reflects this.
Rasmus Hojlund has been quiet in the Premier League but has scored 7 goals in the EURO 2024 qualifiers. Scott McTominay has also scored 7 goals for Scotland and is in the top 10 scorers.
Another Man Utd star, Bruno Fernandes, scored 6 goals for the Portuguese team, an achievement equal to the best striker in the world today, Erling Haaland of the Norwegian team.
Not only that, Bruno Fernandes is also the "assist king" in the EURO 2024 qualifiers with 7 passes for teammates to score.

If all three of the above stars had been in impressive form at club level, Man Utd would probably have had better rankings in both the Premier League and Champions League.
In addition to the three players mentioned above, the list of the 10 best scorers in the EURO 2024 qualifiers also includes two former Man Utd strikers. Thus, the Old Trafford team has a mark in half of the individual scoring rankings.
The top scorer in the EURO 2024 qualifiers is Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian striker has scored 14 goals, including 4 in the first half of the match against Azerbaijan in the final round. According to UEFA statistics, with 14 goals, Lukaku is the best scorer in the history of a EURO qualifier.
Behind Lukaku is another former "Red Devil", Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar set a record when he became the oldest player to reach 10 goals in EURO qualifiers (38 years old).
This will likely be Ronaldo's last EURO qualifier of his career. By the time the next qualifier takes place, the striker will be 42 years old (in 2027). Third place belongs to Kylian Mbappe (France - 9 goals) and Harry Kane (England - 8 goals).
