Frost formed from the night of March 18 to the early morning of March 19 at the top of Ta Xua mountain when the outside temperature dropped to 0 degrees Celsius. Every year, Ta Xua still has frost, mainly during the winter season, from December to February. However, this is the first time people have witnessed ice forming in March.

The temperature dropped sharply, this morning, in the Hoang Lien Son and Ngu Chi Son mountain peaks, Sa Pa also saw frost covering the trees, creating a magical and shimmering natural scene.
