Opening of the 2nd Dien Bien Province High School Sports Competition, 2025

On the morning of March 27, at the Dien Bien Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium, the Departmentof Education and Training coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Dien Bien Provincial High School Sports Competition in 2025.

The tournament attracted more than 1,600 athletes from 43 delegations, including 10 Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns, cities and 33 high schools across the province, competing in 8 sports : Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Pole Pushing, Basketball, Volleyball and Pickleball.

This is the second time the tournament has been held to continue promoting the movement for the whole people to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland"; maintain and promote cultural, artistic and sports activities to contribute to improving the physical strength and stature of Vietnamese people, promote the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning among teachers and students.

The tournament will take place over 4 days, from March 27 to March 30, 2025, in which Pickleball and Volleyball will compete at the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; Chess, Badminton, and Table Tennis will compete at the Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium; Athletics and Pole Pushing will compete at the Provincial Stadium./.
