At Bamboo Airways, before taking on the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue was the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Thus, Bamboo Airways' senior personnel continue to fluctuate. Mr. Tue's predecessor is Mr. Le Thai Sam, who was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways from July 2023. After the "role change", Mr. Sam will hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of Bamboo Airways.
During his tenure as a senior manager at Bamboo Airways, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue directly participated in the management and contributed to Bamboo Airways achieving a number of important goals in the restructuring roadmap, recording many positive changes in business model, fleet structure, human resource structure, financial capacity, etc.
Speaking upon taking office, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways said that he and the board of directors will resolutely and synchronously implement solutions to complete the restructuring project, maintain stable operations, and move towards sustainable development.
Thus, after the latest change, the current structure of Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors includes: Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Thai Sam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Ba Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Le Thi Truc Quynh, member of the Board of Directors.
Bamboo Airways just celebrated the 5th anniversary of its first flight on January 16. The airline is also accelerating plans to increase commercial efficiency with the aim of stabilizing operations, seeking cooperation opportunities to create momentum for future development plans, as well as maintaining traditional airline services (full service airline) to meet the diverse needs of passengers.
The company strives to break even by 2025 and gradually increase operating efficiency in the following years.
Bamboo Airways aims to increase its fleet size from 30 to 50 aircraft in the 2026 - 2028 period, expanding its domestic and key international flight networks.
