The meeting was held at the Provincial Party Committee headquarters, co-chaired by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung and members of the Working Group.
A representative of the Department of Finance said that regarding the progress of the Project to preserve and promote the value of the world cultural heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with relevant ministries and branches to appraise the project. Up to now, comments from the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Finance have been compiled, the province is actively working with the Ministry of Justice to complete the dossier, expected to be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval in the near future.
At the same time, the Project to preserve, restore and renovate the special national relic of My Son Temple Complex is also being accelerated. The dossier has been submitted by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Provincial People's Committee for reporting to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for appraisal.
The Chu Lai airport planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, has completed its final report and is being submitted to the Ministry of Construction. The planning projects for the duty-free zone and the Northwest urban area of Chu Lai airport are also being completed for appraisal.
In addition, for the Cua Lo channel project and Chu Lai Container Logistics Center, the Ministry of Construction has approved the Detailed Planning for the development of land and seaport areas in Quang Nam for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in Decision No. 310/QD-BXD dated March 25. On March 31, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with relevant departments, branches and localities to listen to Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company report on the project proposal. The Provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board will have a working session with the Provincial People's Committee to report on the project implementation status.
Regarding investment in upgrading and renovating National Highways 14D and 14B, the Prime Minister has approved the allocation of capital to increase the central budget revenue in 2024 for the project. The province is currently coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to review and support the province to soon approve project procedures and implement the projects in 2025.
The members of the Working Group discussed the tasks and progress related to the Danang University Urban Area; Special mechanisms to attract strategic investors in the socialized development of Chu Lai airport and Quang Nam seaport; My Son Temple Complex; Pilot project on mechanism to encourage cooperation and linkage in production according to clusters of supporting industries and mechanical industries in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone; Project on developing and forming a Center for Medicinal Industry in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the main crop; Exploitation and processing of Silica... according to the Prime Minister's Conclusion.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the members of the Working Group, especially the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee who promptly directed the assignment of responsibilities, basically ensuring progress, and demonstrating the sense of responsibility of each member.
In the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary directed members to continue to focus and coordinate closely with ministries and branches to ensure the progress of tasks. In particular, focusing on urging the progress of the project to preserve Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary. Regarding the investment and exploitation of Chu Lai Airport, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Department of Construction to continue to closely follow ministries and branches, grasp information, coordinate to speed up the planning progress and urgently coordinate with provincial departments and branches to deploy the next tasks for the planning project of the duty-free zone and the Northwest urban area of Chu Lai Airport.
