Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in An Giang province, delivered a concluding speech.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, implementing the instructions and regulations of the Central Government, An Giang has organized a review and approved the demand (households meeting the criteria in Decision 55/QD-BXD) for housing support in the province of 3,156 households, of which 2,672 are newly built and 484 are repaired. Specifically: 469 households are meritorious people (group 1); 601 poor and near-poor households under the national target programs (group 2); 2,086 poor and near-poor households under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (group 3). The total estimated implementation cost is nearly 175 billion VND, including the Central budget, the provincial budget and mobilized sources...

Concluding the conference, An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Le Hong Quang (Head of the Steering Committee) commended the efforts of agencies, units and localities in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province; especially at the commune level - where the implementation is directly carried out; Long Xuyen City and Chau Doc City have basically completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

The Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee requested localities, especially at the commune level, to continue to promote the achieved results to effectively implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in their localities with the motto of "6 clear" (clear people, clear work, clear results, clear progress, clear responsibilities, clear quality results) and "only discuss action, no backtracking"; take primary responsibility for the results of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the management area.
