
Mr. Ngo Van Tuyen - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Tan district said that these 7 new schools have been completed and will be put into operation on September 5.
"This is the school year the district has built the most new classrooms in the past 10 years. The opening of 7 new schools will help increase the rate of students studying 2 sessions/day in the district. The primary level will reduce the number of students per class, under 40 students, and the secondary level will have about 45 students per class," said Mr. Ngo Van Tuyen.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in the 2024-2025 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will put into use 23 projects, with 476 new classrooms (of which, the number of additional classrooms is 412) with a total investment of more than 2.2 trillion VND.
Of which, on September 5, it is expected to put into use 18 projects with 413 new classrooms. After September 5, 2024 to the end of December 2024, Ho Chi Minh City will put into use five projects with 63 new classrooms (of which, the number of classrooms increased by 53) with a total investment of 267.22 billion VND.
