(Dan Tri) - A fire broke out at a scrap fabric warehouse on Highway 1, Binh Tri Dong A Ward, Binh Tan District (HCMC), destroying many properties.
On January 13, Binh Tan District Police are coordinating with relevant units to clarify the cause of the fire at a fabric warehouse in Binh Tri Dong A ward.
At around 7am the same day, a fire broke out at a fabric warehouse on Highway 1, Binh Tri Dong A Ward. Upon discovering the incident, some people nearby tried to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Encountering flammable materials, the fire quickly spread, with a column of black smoke rising more than ten meters high. At that time, many people inside the factory had to flee outside.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Tan District Police mobilized many officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading. By 8am, the fire was extinguished.
Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Binh Tri Dong A ward People's Committee said that the fire started from a warehouse storing scraps of fabric. The fire did not cause any human casualties but burned down some property. The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are being investigated and counted by the authorities.
