450 booths participate in VITM Hanoi Fair 2025

On the morning of March 25, the Vietnam Tourism Association held a press conference to introduce the Vietnam International Tourism Fair in Hanoi - VITM Hanoi 2025.

With the theme: "Developing green destinations, elevating Vietnam tourism", VITM Hanoi 2025 takes place from April 10 - 13, 2025, at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center ICE (Friendship Cultural Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi), aiming to spread the goal of developing Vietnam tourism towards green and sustainable growth.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association Cao Thi Ngoc Lan said that previously, the 2024 VITM Hanoi Fair was held with the theme "Vietnam Tourism Transforms Green for Sustainable Development" which brought a new trend to Vietnam Tourism: Developing Responsible Tourism associated with environmental protection for sustainable development. Following this trend, at the 2025 Fair, VITM will announce and introduce typical green destinations of Vietnam, attractive and diverse green tourism products to attract businesses and visitors to the Fair.

According to Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, with 450 booths, VITM Hanoi 2025 attracts the participation of 60 domestic and foreign tourism promotion agencies, 8 airlines, 16 countries and territories and more than 600 enterprises. At VITM Hanoi 2025, visitors will have many interesting experiences when coming to the promotional programs at the Fair such as tours, air tickets, hotel rooms, local OCOP products and many attractive destinations across the country. Currently, there are 1,228 appointments on the VITM system.

Notably, at this year's Fair, the Vietnam Tourism Association organized an area to introduce some successes of the digital transformation program, including typical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) of Robots in the fields of travel, hotels and tourism services.

The fair will also host many meetings between businesses (Business to Business - B2B); businesses with consumers (Business to Consumer - B2C); Vietnamese and international tourism promotion agencies will organize many tourism promotion activities, introduce tourism products, destinations, tourism stimulus packages, new technologies and tourism trends; promote tourism programs and events of localities, businesses, domestic and international destinations...

In addition, the Forum "Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism" took place on the morning of April 11, 2025 with the participation of 200 - 300 delegates, including representatives of state management agencies, domestic and international tourism experts, tourism business leaders, as well as destination management agencies, media agencies... Here, delegates will exchange and discuss the development of green destinations in the tourism sector; realize initiatives to approach and expand the market for green tourism business models, gradually implement digital transformation to promote the development of tourism businesses in general and green tourism in particular.

The ceremony to honor "Outstanding businesses and individuals in the Vietnamese tourism industry in 2024" is an annual activity of the Vietnam Tourism Association, to honor outstanding businesses and individuals in the tourism industry with outstanding achievements and positive contributions in the fields of tourism accommodation, travel and tourism services... The ceremony is expected to be held on the afternoon of April 10, 2025.

At the Fair, many localities, destinations and businesses organized many tourism promotion activities such as the Conference "Promoting and promoting Quang Nam tourism"; Tourism promotion conference of Bac Giang province with the theme "Bac Giang - Green Destination of Vietnam Tourism; Conference to introduce ITE fair of Ho Chi Minh City in September 2025...

The art performances at VITM are always vibrant and colorful with many unique art performances, imbued with traditional cultural elements by art troupes from both the country and abroad, being performed on the main stage of the Fair. There will be a tuna performance from Phu Yen; a cultural art troupe from Da Nang; and art troupes from Malaysia; Taiwan (China);…

Highly appreciating the theme of this year's VITM Hanoi 2025 Fair, Deputy Director General of the National Tourism Administration Pham Van Thuy said that the exciting activities at the Fair are an opportunity for businesses to seek, meet, and learn from each other to ensure sustainable tourism development.

In the context of Vietnam tourism needing to rapidly transform with the general situation of world tourism, a prestigious and prestigious event like VITM Hanoi 2025 will further promote its position, contributing positively to the development of Vietnam tourism, gradually becoming a spearhead economic sector of the country.
