12 projects and ideas entered the final round of the Ha Tinh Women's Startup Competition

At the final round of the “Ha Tinh Women Start-up - Promoting Local Resources” Contest organized by the Provincial Women's Union, 12 authors with the best ideas made presentations to find the winner.

On the afternoon of October 4, the Ha Tinh Women's Union coordinated with the Ha Tinh Women Entrepreneurs Association to organize the final round of the "Ha Tinh Women Start-up - Promoting Local Resources" Contest in 2023 and the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Program between the Ha Tinh Women's Union and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Ha Tinh Branch and branches of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) in Ha Tinh, period 2023 - 2026.

Launched in March 2023, the 2023 "Ha Tinh Women Start-up - Promoting Local Resources" Contest organized by the Ha Tinh Women's Union has received active participation and response from women members across the province.

The organizing committee of the competition received 73 startup ideas from all levels of the association. In general, the ideas demonstrated the enthusiasm, innovation and creativity as well as the potential in startups and economic development of Ha Tinh women. After the qualifying rounds, up to now, 12 excellent ideas/projects have entered the final round. These are new startup ideas, highly feasible, suitable for practical needs, including traditional craft village products, promoting local resources, being environmentally friendly...

In the final round of the competition, candidates representing startup ideas will present directly, introducing their potential products, services or typical business models to the judges. The judges are managers with many years of experience in the fields of science and technology, agriculture, OCOP products... will evaluate and create conditions to support ideas and projects to continue to be realized in production and business.

After the opening ceremony, 12 contestants began presenting their ideas. The competition is expected to conclude and award prizes tomorrow (October 5).

Contestant Le Nguyen Khanh Diep (Cam Ha, Cam Xuyen) presented the idea of ​​"Producing Moc Dong natural concentrated shampoo".

The ideas and projects that made it to the final round of the "Ha Tinh Women Start-up - Promoting Local Resources" Contest in 2023 include :

- Producing nutritional oil for weaning babies; producing Bao Hung Agarwood (Huong Khe town).

- Production of Moc Dong natural concentrated shampoo (Cam Ha, Cam Xuyen).

- Production of Hoai Phuong broken rice porridge (Tung Anh commune); clean Tan Huong chicken (Tan Huong commune, Duc Tho).

- Project on breeding and producing products from betel leaves (Dinh Ban commune, Thach Ha).

- Production model of peanut candy and Suu Ha sausage candy (Thach Kenh, Thach Ha).

- Yen village braised fish, Mrs. Tuyet's fermented pork roll (Quang Loc commune, Can Loc).

- Organic rice production (Khanh Vinh Yen commune, Can Loc).

- Production of Panax pseudoginseng products (Son Tay commune, Huong Son).

- Model of raising brackish water crabs in plastic boxes (Cuong Gian commune, Nghi Xuan).

- Embroidery complex in resettlement area (Ky Loi commune, Ky Anh town).

* Previously, within the framework of the program, a signing ceremony of cooperation took place between the Ha Tinh Women's Union, the State Bank of Vietnam, Ha Tinh branch, and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) - branches in Ha Tinh, for the period 2023 - 2026.

In recent times, the Provincial Women's Union has implemented many effective coordination activities with banks in the province in implementing credit and social security programs. Up to now, the Provincial Women's Union is the second largest entrusted debt management unit among socio-political organizations. Women's Unions at all levels in the province have 921 savings and loan groups, with more than 60,000 customers, outstanding debt of over 4,000 billion VND; Ha Tinh Women's Development Fund has a total capital of over 150 billion VND.

Representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam, Ha Tinh branch and the Women's Union of Ha Tinh province signed the document in the presence of delegates.

The signing of the cooperation program between the Provincial Women's Union and the State Bank of Vietnam, Ha Tinh branch and BIDV branches in Ha Tinh for the period 2023 - 2026 will create a combined strength, contributing to the implementation of the goals and targets of the National Strategy on financial inclusion, promoting digital transformation and non-cash payments. At the same time, it will promote gender equality for women in the banking and finance sector and create conditions for female members to easily access safe and effective credit sources.

The coordination program between the Provincial Women's Union and the State Bank of Vietnam - Ha Tinh branch includes 4 main groups of activities: implementing social policy credit activities, rural agricultural credit and other types of credit; improving the effectiveness of implementing the comprehensive financial strategy, financial education for women, limiting black credit; implementing the National Strategy on Gender Equality; implementing social security work and other coordination activities.

Representatives of BIDV Bank's Ha Tinh branches and the Provincial Women's Union signed the cooperation agreement.

The coordination program between the Provincial Women's Union and BIDV Bank branches in Ha Tinh focuses on four main groups of activities: implementing activities to improve skills in using and applying digital in the banking sector for Women's Union members to promote digitalization and limit cash transactions; preferential programs for auto, motorbike and cyber security insurance; implementing preferential credit support activities for Women's Union officials at all levels; coordinating the organization of social security activities, cultural, physical training and sports activities for members, women, children and the Union.
