100% of TKV's coal production units will have electricity to resume normal production on September 12.

To encourage the coal industry to restore production activities, on the evening of September 11, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the electricity supply situation for coal production activities at Hon Gai Coal Company - TKV.

Storm No. 3 caused severe damage to the electricity infrastructure, most areas in the province were affected, lacking electricity for people's daily life and production. In the general context, the coal industry lacked grid electricity, production activities were very difficult, many units were forced to stop production.

With the drastic direction of the province, the efforts of the electricity sector units, especially the mobilization of electricity units from other provinces to Quang Ninh to support repair and fix..., up to now, the electricity grid in the province has been gradually restored. According to the report from TKV, by 8:00 p.m. on September 11, 15/17 coal sector units had electricity grid to serve production. Tonight, Nui Beo mine will continue to be supplied with electricity and tomorrow (September 12), Ha Lam mine will be the last mine of the coal sector to be supplied with electricity grid. Thus, on September 12, all mines of the coal sector will be supplied with electricity again for normal production.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave gifts and encouraged officials and workers of the Coal industry.

Checking the restart of production after the power was restored at Hon Gai Coal Company, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared the difficulties with the Coal industry.

He emphasized: Quang Ninh province is making great efforts to recover from the storm, in which, in addition to prioritizing the stabilization of people's lives, the early restart of production activities is a key task, of special importance to contribute to stabilizing the province's economic development activities.

Therefore, he requested TKV to direct its member units to quickly resume production; pay attention to ensuring safety when restarting production; strictly implement safety inspection procedures, especially in underground mining areas after many days of stopping operations.

Quang Ninh province will always accompany the Coal industry, and at the same time hope that the Coal industry will share the difficulties with the province after the damage from storm No. 3; have appropriate policies to support the people, including the people of the Coal industry.
