TPO - Nhon depot station (Tay Tuu ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi city) of the Nhon - Hanoi railway project has been basically completed. After more than 10 years of construction and more than 4 years of assembling train cars, nearly ten trains are now waiting in the waiting room.
With an area of 15 hectares, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station Depot Area includes works such as operation building (OCC), train hangar, maintenance house, electrical engineering and other auxiliary works. |
The project started on January 12, 2013. According to the original plan, the works here will be completed by the end of 2018. |

The Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway section is 12.5 km long, passing through 8 elevated stations and 4 underground stations, of which the elevated section (Nhon - Cau Giay) is 8.5 km long and the underground section (Cau Giay - Hanoi station) is 4 km long. |
In addition to technical works, the depot campus also has a circular regulating lake in the middle of the project, 3m deep, to regulate rainwater and create landscape. |
The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station project started in 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in 2015. |
After many delays, the new completion date is expected to be 2029, exactly 20 years after the groundbreaking date. |
The project's extension increases costs, with the total proposed investment being VND34,530 billion, an increase of about VND4,905 billion compared to the original estimate. |
