Tour guides gain practical experience to improve tourism skills

Students practice their presentation skills right on the bus while experiencing the Con Son - Kiep Bac tour.

On April 14 and 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong organized a training program to improve professional skills for tour guides at the 2025 site.

The program is attended by about 120 tour guides and collaborators at tourist areas, attractions, and experiences serving tourists in the province; members of the Management Board of relics of communes, wards, and towns in the area.

Learning goes hand in hand with practice to help students understand deeply and master skills.

The new point of this program is that students get to experience a real tour of the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site. Students practice explaining to tourists right on the bus, at the relic site throughout the tour; then take a short test on their ability to explain and guide tourists... This helps students grasp, remember deeply and gain experience right after being trained.

The program aims to provide knowledge and skills for tour guides at points and individuals working as tour guides at some tourist areas, destinations and attractions in the province on tour guiding skills.
