During the operating period on April 3, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 341 VND/liter, RON 95 III increased by 495 VND/liter compared to the current base price to new prices of 20,373 VND/liter and 20,919 VND/liter.
Diesel, kerosene and fuel oil prices were also adjusted up by VND261, VND211 and VND124 to VND18,478/liter, VND18,735/liter and VND17,026/kg.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world oil market from March 27 to April 2 was mainly affected by factors such as: US crude oil inventories increased, the US announced a basic tax rate of 10% for all imported goods and higher for goods from many major trading partners, the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continued... Therefore, the world oil price in recent days has mainly fluctuated upward.
This is the third consecutive time that gasoline prices have been adjusted upward. In the most recent adjustment, on March 27, each liter of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 III gasoline increased by VND337/liter compared to the current base price, to a new price of VND20,032/liter and VND20,424/liter.
