Surpassing Thanh Loc to win Best Actor award, Truong Giang said: 'I'm ashamed'

Truong Giang was moved when he won two consecutive trophies in the categories of "Best Actor" and "Most Favorite Actor" at the Green Star Awards.

The 10th Green Star Awards ceremony was recently held at the Hoa Binh Theater (HCMC) with the participation of many artists. This year's awards honored 27 individuals and groups in 3 categories: Film (10 awards), TV series (11 awards) and web drama (6 awards).

In the web drama category, Truong Giang's Delivery Chairman won 3 awards including: Most Favorite Actor (voted by the audience), Best Actress (voted by the Arts Council) and Best Web Drama (voted by the Arts Council).

Truong Giang won big with 3 trophies at "Green Star 2023".

In the Best Actor award, Truong Giang surpassed Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc to win.

Standing on stage, the male artist emotionally shared: "Being nominated together with Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc and yet I won the award, to be honest, I feel ashamed, ashamed in the field of art education. The fact that I won the award today is thanks to everyone's love for me, it is my debt of gratitude to everyone. I promise to repay the audience from now until the end of my life."

When stepping onto the stage to receive the award for Best Web Drama , Truong Giang said: "I didn't think I would be on stage for the third time tonight. "Delivery Chairman" was created with the original purpose of giving it to the audience, but I didn't expect to receive love a thousand times over. It's true that in this life, doing anything good will be rewarded a thousand times better."

In the film category, Mrs. Nu's House was called out 3 times with awards including Best Actress for Le Giang, Best Director for Tran Thanh and Best Film.

Stepping onto the stage to receive the award for Best Film Director (Cinema category), Tran Thanh humbly said: "Today, I was nominated with two seniors, Victor Vu and Bui Thac Chuyen. Honestly, I'm just a "shrimp". I think that this award is given by the art council, the uncles, aunts, uncles, seniors in the profession who loved me so they gave it to encourage and support the youth to continue making films. There are still many things that I have to learn from the profession, from Bui Thac Chuyen, Victor Vu.

I'm just a rookie, this is only my second film. I hope this award will be a source of motivation for me to be able to make more good films in the future."

In addition, in the Cinema category, the most favorite Actor/Actress belongs to Kieu Minh Tuan and Minh Hang.

Appearing beautifully after maternity leave, Minh Hang confided: "After a period of "hiding", retreating to take care of the family, today is the first day I returned and met many artists. During the 1 year of "hiding", I felt sad and tormented because I knew there was a lot of work waiting for me out there. Today's trophy is the motivation for me to return in 2024".
