Vision Pro is a great support for surgeons

According to AppleInsider , Apple's introduction of Vision Pro may be a boon to workplace productivity, but in some cases it will bring huge value. Most notably, it could give surgeons "superpowers."

Surgeons will benefit from the technology on Vision Pro

This was shared by Dr. Rafael Grossmann - a general surgeon with a background in robotic surgery and the first person to live-stream a surgery using Google Glass. Dr. Grossmann believes that Vision Pro can be of great help during surgery when information plays a vital role in the surgery process affecting the patient's survival.

“In the operating room, you’re collecting data in mixed reality, which gives you real-time, synchronized information to perform a safe surgical procedure,” Dr. Grossmann explains of the mixed reality technology he’s using.

The technology also "allows you to not have to turn around to where you put the computer," according to the doctor. Using spatial computing, the screen can be placed anywhere in the room and, in the case of surgery, can be within the wearer's line of sight.

In addition to the aforementioned activities, Dr. Grossmann suggests that Vision Pro could be used in other ways, such as providing additional connectivity between doctors and patients. For example, a digital assistant could be displayed to the doctor to handle basic tasks like taking notes or providing information from patient records.
