According to TechSpot , despite being hailed as the 'ultimate entertainment device', the upcoming $3,500 Apple Vision Pro mixed reality glasses are facing many limitations, most notably the lack of Netflix, YouTube and Spotify apps.
According to a Bloomberg report, Netflix has no plans to develop apps for Vision Pro and doesn't even support iPad apps on Apple's mixed reality glasses.

Apple Vision Pro won't have its own YouTube app
On the other hand, even the most ardent Apple fans have to admit that the Vision Pro is a tough sell. The high price tag and battery life of just 2-2.5 hours have left many people skeptical about the product’s appeal.
In addition to Netflix, YouTube and Spotify have also confirmed that they will not develop apps for Vision Pro. Users will have to access these entertainment services through a web browser, but they will not be able to enjoy special features of Vision Pro such as virtual backgrounds for videos. Additionally, users will not be able to download content for offline viewing and video resolution may be limited.
Netflix once developed a dedicated app for Meta's Quest glasses, but the app's interface is outdated and hasn't been updated in years.
Overall, the lack of dedicated Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify apps for the Vision Pro is a significant drawback. While Apple is trying to heavily promote the Vision Pro, these shortcomings may make users think twice before deciding to spend the big money to own it.
