The recorded image shows that the VinFast VF 7 electric car is in the testing phase on the streets of Vietnam.
Recently leaked images on social networks show that VinFast VF 7 has been rolling on the streets of Vietnam, no longer the display version at previous events. The overall design taken from the rear of the car shows that there is not much difference compared to the concept version.
The overall size of VinFast VF 7 can be classified in the C-size SUV/crossover segment, which is equivalent to Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mitsubishi Outlander, Ford Territory. The difference of VinFast VF 7 lies in the electric motor.
The car has dimensions of length, width, and height of 4,545 x 1,890 x 1,635 (mm), with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, which means it reaches the threshold of a D-class car. This C-size SUV was designed by the famous Torino Design studio. The exterior of the car is equipped with familiar wing-shaped LED positioning lights, the hood slopes back in a coupe style, and the side windows connect to the rear windows quite uniquely. The Eco and Plus versions have slight differences in appearance.
The interior of the VinFast VF 7 has a minimalist design typical of electric cars, with a 12.9-inch touch screen entertainment screen in the center of the dashboard for the Eco version and a 15.6-inch touch screen for the Plus version. The electronic gear lever and handbrake come with some notable features such as HUD information display on the windshield, steering wheel with integrated buttons, automatic throttle and wireless charging.
The VinFast VF 7 Eco version is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque combined with front-wheel drive. The Plus version uses an electric motor with a capacity of 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque combined with four-wheel drive. When fully charged with a 75.3 kWh battery, the operating range of the VinFast VF 7 Eco version is up to 450 km, while the number on the Plus version is 431 km.
The car is equipped with highway driving assistance system (level 2), lane keeping control, smart cruise control and emergency lane keeping assist.
Up to this point, there is no electric car positioned in the same segment as the VinFast VF 7 that is about to be launched in the Vietnamese market. Positioned below the VinFast VF 7 is the VinFast VF 6, which is also about to be launched.
