“I noticed that the car body has many stylized triangular shapes, creating strong lines. This design language is quite similar when I think about fashion designs that need to be strong, creating a sense of sportiness. I think this goes beyond everyone's common image of a commercial car design,” said the only young Vietnamese designer honored by Forbes as “The Most Influential Artist Under 30 in Asia in The Arts” (30 Under 30 Asia 2024), commenting on the VF 7 design. The triangular shapes that designer Phan Dang Hoang mentioned were inspired by the design of supersonic aircraft, especially in the details of the wings and jet engines. VF 7 carries the “Asymmetrical Universe” design philosophy of Torino Design - a famous studio from Italy. Thanks to that, this SUV looks like a spaceship. It is known that the design team from Torino Design spent more than 80,000 hours on the project to have a perfect VF 7 model as it is today. VF 7 is a model that converges all 4 elements according to the design philosophy set by Torino Design. Mr. Paolo Smeriglio - Head of Project Management at Torino Design - said that the 4 elements are a unique overall design, with distinct identification details, sophistication in finishing and ensuring operational functionality. These elements create a prominent car, with easily recognizable marks. Imagine VF 7 as a vedette in the upcoming collection, designer Phan Dang Hoang said that he will design a unique outfit with a mysterious black color for the car and add layers of fabric to enhance the temperament of a Vietnamese car model. He wants to show a car that is modern, fresh, has a futuristic style but still possesses traditional Vietnamese lines. According to designer Phan Dang Hoang, the design of VF 7 will certainly satisfy stylish, individual car owners but can still meet the needs of those who like minimalism. He shared: "I appreciate the design of VF 7. I find that the car has a strong appearance but still has luxury, elegance, suitable for many ages and many users". The companion adds creative energy The beauty of VF 7 also goes hand in hand with practicality, as designer Phan Dang Hoang shared, coming from the spacious interior, minimalist cockpit, and uncluttered controls that suit his taste. "I feel extremely comfortable sitting in this space because it is very spacious. I can sketch and come up with ideas for some upcoming collections right on the car", the young designer said.
