The 2nd ACS competition was held from November 19-22 in Ha Long City with 37 teams from 10 ASEAN countries, providing a platform for talents in the field of cybersecurity to showcase, while promoting innovation and cooperation in the ASEAN region.

Participating in the 2nd ACS competition, Vietnam has 3 teams from the Academy of Cryptography Engineering, University of Information Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and Duy Tan University.

At the end of the competition, the team of the University of Information Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) won the first prize in the General category and the first prize in the Student category. The Cryptography Technical Academy won the second prize in the Student category.

"This year's competition is quite intense as all teams have solid knowledge. Every team has strengths and confidence, so this is an opportunity for us to compete with people in the field in neighboring countries. This is a useful competition that needs to be implemented more," said contestant Nguyen Duy Huy (team of the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University).

ACS is a competition that aims to discover and nurture cybersecurity talent in ASEAN through international cooperation between Korea and ASEAN countries.

Each ASEAN country can participate with a maximum of 4 teams, each team consisting of 4 people, and receive financial support from the program.

The competition is divided into two groups: General and Student. The General group includes contestants from businesses or universities (not necessarily students), the Student group includes students studying at universities in ASEAN.
