On April 14, in response to a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the missile launch into Israeli territory, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang emphasized: "Vietnam is deeply concerned about the current escalating tensions in the Middle East, especially acts of force that violate the United Nations Charter and cause losses to civilians."

Vietnam calls on relevant parties to exercise restraint, resolve disagreements by peaceful means, strictly comply with international law, the Charter and relevant resolutions of the United Nations, and immediately end acts of force that escalate tensions, for the sake of security, safety, peace and stability in the region and the world, said Ms. Pham Thu Hang.

According to the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam, Iran launched multiple missiles, rockets and drones in an unprecedented attack on Israel on the night of April 13. "It is too early to discuss response measures, but Israel has the right to self-defense and is assessing the situation," the embassy said in a statement.
