The Kentucky-based Garrett Real Estate Group (USA) has released a list of countries with the highest rate of household home ownership in the world. According to this list, in the top 10 countries, Vietnam is in 3rd place.
Romania tops the list of countries with the highest home ownership rates in the world. Over 96% of households own their own homes. This is due to the Romanian tradition of homeownership. Despite the high home ownership rate in Romania, reports suggest that one-third of Romanian homes may be in a state of disrepair.
China is close behind, with a home ownership rate of more than 90%. In this country, home ownership is seen as a sign of stability and wealth.
Vietnam ranks third on this list with a rate of 90%. However, like many other countries, rapid growth and rising prices have created challenges in housing affordability in Vietnam.

Russia and Sudan follow at 87%. Like many other countries, owning a home represents stability and is a solid investment.
Poland is next with a home ownership rate of 86.8%. Owning a home is not just a place to live, but also a symbol of independence and financial stability. Although high housing prices in some parts of Poland make it more difficult to buy a home, that has not discouraged the people of this Eastern European country from owning a home.
The remaining countries in the top 10 are India (86.6%), Pakistan (86.6%), Japan (80%), and Spain (75.8%), respectively.
