Famous for fresh squid

Not long ago, some people doing business in the beach area of ​​Man Thai ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city tried selling instant noodles cooked with fresh squid right in this beach area.

It is surprising that this seemingly simple dish has become a craze among young people. People call fresh squid caught in this sea area "squid flash". Just boil it, mix it with instant noodles and it becomes an extremely attractive dish, attracting hundreds of young people to enjoy it every day.

Flashing squid is very fresh squid, the squid body is still visible, with brown and red flashing spots.

When customers order, the seller starts to prepare. Squid noodles are prepared quite simply but must ensure that the main ingredient is fresh squid whose eyes, teeth, ink sac and internal organs have been removed by the seller, keeping the squid eggs.

The squid broth will then be seasoned with instant noodle seasoning or the owner's own seasoning. Each bowl of noodles will have noodles, squid, celery, bean sprouts, onions, and green peppers. If anyone cannot eat any of the ingredients, they will tell the restaurant to remove them. In addition, customers often order a separate plate of boiled squid with seafood dipping sauce.

Many locals and tourists, after paddling sup and jogging on Man Thai beach, immediately came in to eat and shared widely on social networks, attracting many young people to follow the trend.

From 7am, dozens of young people were present at the Man Thai beach area (Son Tra district, Da Nang) to experience the extremely popular flashing squid instant noodles dish in recent times.

Coming to eat squid noodles for the first time, Mr. Phan Quoc Tan (28 years old, tourist from Ninh Thuan) shared: "When I saw the video of flashing squid noodles on social media, I decided to travel 12 hours to Da Nang to travel and enjoy this noodle dish. For the first time, I enjoyed fresh, delicious and crispy squid with rich broth right at the sea."

What attracts tourists to eat is not only the freshness of the squid but also the cool sea air. Mr. Huy (in Khanh Hoa) smiled and said: "After eating, I can freely swim in the sea, take a walk, I not only enjoy the delicious food but also have fun."

At Man Thai beach, there are many shops selling squid noodles. There are only a few simple plastic tables and chairs, but tourists really enjoy it. Ms. Truong Thi Kim Thanh (Son Tra district, Da Nang) - the person who opened a squid noodle shop here - shared: "Many tourists from the provinces come here to eat squid noodles, most of them eat early in the morning from 6-9am to feel the sea breeze and gentle sunshine.

Every 4-5am, my husband goes to the sea 50m away to buy squid that fishermen have just pulled up. The squid must be fresh every day so that customers can only come back after they have finished eating.
