A product at a reputable pharmacy has been granted a registration number but the information cannot be looked up.

In the product information section, in addition to the company name, registration number, and product name, information such as tax code and food safety certificate number are all in the "updating" status.

Trying to look up a health protection product being sold at a reputable pharmacy chain, even though I filled in the company information, registration number... I still did not receive any information about the product.

Besides, people nowadays do not regularly look up information on public services, so looking up information is not easy.

Read the label carefully

In addition, the Food Safety Department also guides people to carefully check product information on the product label or sub-label (for imported products) to ensure that the following information is complete:

- Product name;

- Date of manufacture, expiry date;

- Ingredients, quantitative ingredients;

- Quantitative;

- Instructions for use, storage instructions: Uses, users, how to use;

- Risk recommendations (if any);

- Write the phrase: "Health protection food";

- Write the phrase: "This food is not a medicine and cannot replace medicine."

- Product declaration registration receipt number, advertising content confirmation number (if any).

- Name and address of the responsible trader and product manufacturing facility.

Regarding signs of advertising that violates regulations, the Food Safety Department instructs consumers when viewing advertisements on social networks to note that all health protection foods cannot replace medicine to treat diseases.

Advertisements such as drinking health protection foods will cure diseases; or having images of doctors and medical staff introducing the product, without the line: "This food is not a medicine and does not have the effect of replacing medicine" are advertising content that violates the law.

People absolutely do not listen to advertisements to buy and use.
