"Nurturing" the Party - Part 1: Positive signals

In schools, many "seeds" have sprouted, developed and had the honor of standing in the ranks of the Party. However, objectively speaking, developing Party members among students is still a "difficult problem" requiring fundamental, long-term solutions...

Being a member of the Party while still in school is an honor, a pride and a motivation for each student to strive and work hard. At the moment of taking the oath under the Party flag, the 18-year-old Party members not only carry pride but also a deep awareness of their responsibility to live and act worthy of that noble title. In recent years, educational institutions in the province have increasingly paid attention to the work of developing Party members among students, thereby creating conditions for the "seeds" to soon awaken to the Party's ideals, strive and train to reap "sweet fruit".

Proud 18 year old party member

With outstanding academic achievements and enthusiasm in school and class movements, Dinh Ngoc Bao (born in 2006, in Thuan Hoa village, Hoa Son commune, Minh Hoa), Boarding Ethnic Minority High School of the province became one of the elite masses to be admitted to the Party while still in school. More honorably, Bao is one of the few ethnic minority students in the province to become a Party member when he just turned 18. After being admitted to the Party, Ngoc Bao strived to achieve many excellent achievements in his studies, passed the entrance exam to the Army Officer School 1 and continued to promote the pioneering and exemplary spirit in the new environment.

“From the moment I became a Party member, I always reminded myself to try my best to not disappoint the trust of the Party organization, the teachers who introduced and guided me. Becoming a Party member is not only a testament to my efforts but also a great source of motivation for me to continue learning and improving myself,” Ngoc Bao expressed.

Admitted to the Party at Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted (Dong Hoi City), young members Hoang Phuong Trinh and Ho Nguyen Dieu An (Foreign Trade University, Hanoi) not only maintain excellent academic achievements but also actively participate in international diplomatic and economic activities, contributing to bringing the image of Vietnamese students to the world.

The maturity of students admitted to the Party at high schools is a clear demonstration of the important role of fostering revolutionary ideals in schools. After being admitted to the Party, regardless of the environment, they always demonstrate responsibility, strong political will, a spirit of continuous learning and a desire to contribute to society. For young Party members, it is also a reminder of the path they have chosen, the path of ideals, responsibility and aspiration to contribute. The pride of being in the ranks of the Party will always be the light that guides them firmly into the future.

Many "bright spots"

According to the Director of the Department of Education and Training Dang Ngoc Tuan, in recent years, the work of developing Party members in schools has had many positive changes. More and more students with good qualities, high political awareness, and aspiration to contribute have joined the Party. From 2021 to present, 420 excellent students have been sent to attend Party awareness training classes, of which 120 students have been admitted to the Party. This is the result of the synchronous and effective implementation of many specific and practical solutions. In particular, many educational institutions have paid close attention to the work of developing Party members from students.

Being in the Party ranks is an honor and pride for many students.

Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted is one of the outstanding highlights in the work of developing student union members. Teacher Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of the school said: To create a change in the quantity and quality of student union members, the school strengthens propaganda, education on revolutionary ideals, moral qualities, raising awareness and understanding of the Party, thereby building motivation for students to join the Party; creating many diverse union activities for students to participate in, practice and express themselves...

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of many solutions, the number of students admitted to the Party at the school has increased steadily over the years. From 2021-2024, the school had 39 students admitted to the Party, with 19 students in 2024 alone. All students have outstanding academic achievements, are active class and union cadres, and are the "nucleus" of the Party. The admission of students to the Party is a clear demonstration of comprehensive and effective educational work in the strategy of enhancing the position and prestige of the Party cell and the school.

Also a unit that has made many positive changes in the work of developing Party members for students, Ninh Chau High School (Quang Ninh) has implemented many measures to discover and nurture students with strong political ideology, good ethics, excellent academic performance and a high sense of responsibility in collective activities to join the Party. Thanks to that, the number of students admitted to the Party of the school is always higher than the previous year. Specifically, in the 2022-2023 school year, the school had 2 excellent students admitted and in the 2023-2024 school year, there were 11 students.

The efforts of educational institutions in improving the effectiveness of Party development work for students have contributed to strengthening the Party's youth, supplementing the next generation of cadres and Party members, ensuring a continuous and steady transition between generations of cadres and Party members to continue the Party's revolutionary cause in the future...

From 2021 to the end of December 2024, 20/32 schools in the province have admitted 120 Party members who are students, of which 74 students were admitted in 2024. In particular, the work of developing Party members among students in some schools in 2024 has achieved positive results, typically Vo Nguyen Giap Specialized School (19 students), Ninh Chau High School (11 students), Quang Ninh High School (9 students), Le Thuy High School (5 students)...
