"Thanh Hoa City Cultural Week"

The "Thanh Hoa City - Hoi An City Cultural Week" in 2025 will take place at Hoi An Park for 7 consecutive days, from the evening of April 25th to May 1st, with many attractive cultural and sports activities.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony, taking place at 8 PM on April 25th, will feature a screening of the clip "Thanh Hoa Tourism - The Beauty of Four Seasons" and showcase the twinning activities between Thanh Hoa City and Hoi An City, and between Dong Son District (now Thanh Hoa City) and Thang Binh District over the years. This will be followed by a live performance featuring traditional Thanh Hoa and Hoi An costumes combined with singing and dancing, themed "Vietnamese Ao Dai - Timeless Beauty".

On April 26th, folk games and performances such as bamboo pole jumping, folk dancing, pot smashing, tug-of-war, sack racing, etc., will be organized; along with performances of community fitness activities.

On April 27th, a painting competition was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country; the 65th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Thanh Hoa and Quang Nam, the sister-city relationship between Thanh Hoa and Hoi An, and the sister-district relationship between Dong Son and Thang Binh, with the theme "Me and the Digital Age"; along with folk games and performances. In the evening, there was a modern dance exchange with the theme "Vibrant Dance Steps".

On April 28th, there will be folk games and performances, as well as yoga and children's sports dance performances with the theme "Summer for Kids".

On the evening of April 29th, performances of folk dances with the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Dances" and traditional musical instruments were presented.

On April 30th, folk games, performances, and a singing and dancing program with the theme "Aspiration to Rise Up," along with performances of traditional musical instruments, will be organized.

In addition, there will be activities to introduce and display OCOP products, characteristic local agricultural products, and products from cooperatives and businesses in the province.

The exhibition displays representative documents and images about Thanh Hoa City and Hoi An City, past and present; famous heritage sites of the two cities; outstanding achievements in politics, economics, and culture of the two cities; and images of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee from 1930 to 2025.

Children's experiential activities include folk painting, pottery making, a reading room, statue painting, and more.

The nine-room building complex will showcase and introduce the city's tourism, books, paintings, artifacts, documents, traditional musical instruments, traditional costumes, and a vintage cafe atmosphere.

The row of six houses will serve food and drinks.
