Measles vaccination rate reached 97.1%

Vaccinate children against measles to avoid the risk of infection.

Accordingly, from March 24 to 31, the health sector implemented a measles vaccination campaign in 180 communes, wards and towns/15 districts, towns and cities. The overall vaccination rate of all groups reached 97.1%, of which the group of children from 6 to under 9 months old reached 96.3%; the group of children from 1-5 years old reached 96.6%; the group of children from 6-10 years old reached 97.5%.

Although the vaccination rate is high, there are still some people who have not responded to vaccination, others are sick or not present in the locality at the time of vaccination so they cannot participate in this vaccination campaign.

In the coming time, the health sector will continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to vaccinate the remaining subjects, integrating them into regular vaccination sessions at the station.
