Brazil Brazil coach Fernando Diniz replaced Richarlison with Endrick, the 17-year-old who will join Real Madrid next summer.
On November 6, the Brazilian team announced the squad for the two matches against Colombia and Argentina. Coach Diniz left out Richarlison, but called up Endrick for the first time.
"Endrick has the potential to become one of the great talents," Diniz explained. "Being called up is not a pressure, but a reward and also a vision for the future. A boy born in 2006 who has the ability to create what he has created over such a long period of time caught my attention."

Endrick started his professional career in 2022 at Palmeiras, where he scored 14 goals in 54 games. In December 2022, Real Madrid reached an agreement with Palmeiras to sign Endrick in July 2024. The transfer fee could be as high as $76 million.
According to Marca , Real Madrid consider Endrick to have the same potential as Vinicius and Rodrygo, two stars they bought as teenagers many years ago. Vinicius and Rodrygo are also named in this call-up.
Endrick has scored three goals for Palmeiras in their last two games. This season, Palmeiras have won the Sao Paulo state championship, won the Brazilian Super Cup, reached the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Cup and the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores. They are currently second in the Brazilian championship with 59 points after 32 games, level on points with leaders Botafogo but having played a game more. If they play well in their final six games, Endrick and his teammates can successfully defend their title.
While Endrick has improved steadily, Richarlison has failed to score in all six appearances for Brazil in 2023. The 26-year-old has also struggled for form at Tottenham, scoring just two goals in 11 appearances in 2023-24. Last year, Richarlison scored 10 goals in 10 appearances for Brazil, including three at the World Cup.
Brazil are currently third in the South American qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup, with seven points from four games, five points behind leaders Argentina. Diniz's team will travel to Colombia on November 16. They will host Argentina five days later.
