Which routes go from Tay Ninh to Long An?

The Party Central Committee has passed a resolution to merge provinces and cities; in which Tay Ninh merged with Long An province, named Tay Ninh and the administrative center is located in Long An . Currently, infrastructure development, including important road systems, creating momentum for socio-economic development is being paid attention to by the authorities of the two localities.

The route from Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park (Trang Bang Town, Tay Ninh) connects to Provincial Road 825 towards Long An.

Currently, the administrative center of Long An province is located in Tan An city , about 115 km from Tay Ninh city. There are 2 main routes from Tay Ninh city to Tan An city.

The first road is provincial road 786, this route goes through Moc Bai border gate area (Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh), then crosses Duong Xuong bridge (bridge connecting Tay Ninh and Long An provinces) along provincial road 838 of Long An province to Tan An city.

Currently, provincial road 786 is still quite small, not enough to meet the traffic connection between the two provinces.

The second road is from Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park (Trang Bang Town, Tay Ninh), connecting with Provincial Road 825 towards Long An.

Although both of the above mentioned routes are asphalt roads, they are designed to be small and have degraded in many sections; not enough to meet the traffic connection needs of the two provinces.

Tay Long Bridge (located between Tay Ninh and Long An provinces) on Ho Chi Minh road, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section is under construction.

In addition, Tay Ninh residents can still follow Highway 22, then turn onto Highway N2 (Trang Bang Town) to go to Long An. However, this route must pass through Ho Chi Minh City, which is further than the two routes above.

Currently, there is another route connecting Long An province with Tay Ninh under construction, the Ho Chi Minh road (Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section). This route passes through Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh and Long An provinces. The project is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2025./.
