On the morning of March 30, Border Guard Intermediate School 24 (Border Guard) held a ceremony to send troops to support search and rescue and overcome the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar. Major General Le Van Phuc, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard attended and directed the ceremony.

Reporting on the results of the preparation work of the Team of officers and service dogs participating in search and rescue, overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar, Colonel Nguyen Quang Thuyen, Principal of Border Guard Intermediate School 24, said: The school has organized a review and selection to establish a Team of officers and service dogs participating in search and rescue, overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar, including 9 officers, trainers, and professional staff participating in the task with sufficient political qualities, qualifications, capacity, and work experience; 6 specialized search and rescue service dogs with good physical strength and flexible nerves to ensure the successful completion of the task.

The school also synchronously develops documents, plans, and records of officers, trainers, and service dogs to report to superior professional agencies; implements animal quarantine certificates for service dogs; ensures the number of officers, trainers, service dogs, equipment, and materials are ready to perform tasks immediately after the departure ceremony.

Ready to ensure the use of 4 teams of officers and service dogs to participate in search and rescue (1 official team, 3 reserve teams).
