At the same time, it was affirmed that the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a valuable document in both theory and practice, a "handbook" for the fight against corruption and negativity in our country. On the basis of summarizing rich practices and drawing out theoretical issues on the fight against corruption and negativity in Vietnam, it has demonstrated the vision, clear-sighted intelligence, close, decisive, comprehensive, and convincing leadership of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Colonel, Master Pham Van Minh, Deputy Head of Politics of Army Officer School 1, said: Based on studying the content and applying the values ​​of the book, in order to contribute to improving the effectiveness of the fight against corruption and negativity, in the coming time, the cadres in charge of agencies, departments and units in the school need to be exemplary, promote the responsibility of directly directing the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; proactively detect cases with signs of corruption, waste and negativity in their agencies, departments and units; be open and transparent in their activities; effectively organize the implementation of measures to prevent and combat corruption, practice thrift and combat waste in the units they are in charge of.

Colonel, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chung, Head of the Department of Marxist-Leninist Theory, acknowledged: Studying and mastering the ideological content of the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the relationship between "building" and "fighting" in the fight against corruption and negativity has profound significance for lecturers of military schools in general, lecturers of the Marxist-Leninist Theory Department, Army Officer School 1 in particular. From there, through the implementation of teaching tasks, each lecturer promotes propaganda and education to raise awareness among students about the position, meaning, role, and importance of the fight against corruption and negativity; in each lecture, each lecturer needs to strengthen the Party spirit, combativeness, update and supplement new theoretical knowledge, and closely follow the practical military activities of the school.

Lieutenant Colonel, Master Le Thanh Sinh, Deputy Head of the Military Science Department also analyzed and emphasized the arguments of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on directing to do better in personnel work to select and arrange the right people with virtue, talent, integrity, dedication, and devotion to the country and people into leadership positions of the state apparatus. Resolutely fight to eliminate those who fall into corruption; oppose all manifestations of seeking positions, power, localism, preferential recruitment of unqualified relatives and family members. At the same time, rectify and fight to eliminate the idea of ​​retreat, fear that if the fight against corruption and negativity is too strong, it will hinder development, discourage, "hold back", "defend", "shield", keep "safe", avoid, and shirk responsibility in a part of cadres and civil servants, especially leaders and managers at all levels.

These are positive contributions, helping to spread the theoretical and practical values ​​of the above work. This is also the basis for finding solutions to fight against corruption and negativity in the army and in society today.
