Recently, the National Economics University issued Notice No. 1305/TB-DHKTQD on the direction of regular university enrollment in 2025. In the notice, the National Economics University affirmed that in 2025, the school plans to use 3 enrollment methods with information on quota allocation for each method.

Specifically as follows: direct admission method, 2%; combined admission method according to the school's enrollment plan, 83% of the target; method of considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, 15% of the target. The target ratio is determined according to the total target and according to the enrollment code.
Thus, basically, the methods remain the same as in 2024. Regarding the allocation of quotas, the combined admission method increases by 3% compared to this year (increased in group 2), the graduation exam results method decreases by 3% compared to this year.
The combined admission method according to the school's admission plan also keeps the 3 admission groups stable as this year: group 1 of candidates with international competency assessment certificates (SAT/ACT) is 5% of the target; group 2 of candidates with competency assessment test scores from 2 national universities or with thinking assessment test scores from Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 48% of the target (increased by 3%); group 3 of candidates with international English certificates combined with 2025 high school graduation exam scores in math and another subject other than English is 30%.
Regarding the method of using high school graduation exam results in 2025, the National Economics University will only use 4 combinations: A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English) and D07 (math, chemistry, English) instead of 9 combinations as in 2024. All subjects are calculated with a coefficient of 1 when considering admission.
