Hanoi University of Architecture stops direct admission based on IELTS

(Dan Tri) - Candidates with IELTS 6.0 or higher will only receive priority points when applying to the advanced Architecture program of Hanoi University of Architecture.

Hanoi University of Architecture has just announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025 with many new points.

Accordingly, the school will no longer directly admit candidates with IELTS 6.0 or higher. International English certificates will only be added to the priority admission points for the admission subject group, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.

This admission priority also applies only to candidates applying to the advanced program in Architecture.

In addition, the school added computer science and technology to the admission combinations. Detailed information about the combinations has not been announced by the school.

In 2025, Hanoi University of Architecture will organize regular university admissions with 29 majors, training programs, 2 training classes for talented Architects, talented Engineers and 2 international joint training programs.

The school only considers early admission for candidates who are eligible for direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The three main admission methods in the 2025 enrollment period of Hanoi University of Architecture include: Considering high school graduation exam results, considering high school graduation exam results with aptitude subjects, and considering academic records.

In particular, considering transcripts only applies to the following majors: Water supply and drainage engineering; Urban infrastructure engineering; Urban environmental engineering; Mechanical and electrical engineering; Traffic construction engineering; Construction project management; Urban underground construction; Civil and industrial construction; Construction materials engineering technology.

Candidates applying for admission to gifted majors with exam/admission combinations V00, V01, V02, H00, H02 must take the 2025 gifted exam organized by Hanoi University of Architecture.
