A meaningful milestone opens a new and promising journey for students
The graduation ceremony of the 11th undergraduate program of British University Vietnam (BUV) took place on October 14 and 15 at the campus in Ecopark. At the graduation ceremony, nearly 500 bachelors from majors such as International Business Administration, Finance, Game Design and Programming, Computer Science, etc. officially received their degrees after 3 years of studying and training at BUV.
The event was attended by representatives from partner universities, business representatives and leading industry experts.
With the message "Soar To New Heights", the graduation ceremony sent a message of encouragement to the new graduates to always maintain the spirit of continuous learning and creativity, to grasp and create opportunities for both themselves and society, thereby reaching new heights on the next journey.
At the ceremony, Dang Trung Anh, a new graduate of Marketing Management at British University Vietnam, representing the new graduates of the same class, shared his thoughts and expressed his gratitude to his teachers, parents, friends and the entire BUV staff: "Thank you to all my friends at BUV for the deadline camping sessions, group study sessions and for overcoming fears and worries together. I would like to sincerely thank all the teachers and wonderful lecturers. Your efforts are the motivation for us to strive harder and become better. I am extremely grateful to British University Vietnam and all the seniors who have worked at BUV for always working hard to bring us a wonderful university experience. And congratulations to the new graduates of the class of 2023. Wishing each of us a meaningful and exciting journey ahead."

Continuing BUV's journey to raise the level of international education
At the graduation ceremony, Professor Raymond Gordon - President of British University Vietnam emotionally said: "The new graduates here today have had to face the Covid-19 pandemic and study very hard to achieve their bachelor's degrees. BUV is proud of what each of you has achieved. Personally, I have full confidence in their ability to represent the school in the working environment around the world. Today's new graduates will enter the labor market with something that makes them stand out, which is owning a British bachelor's degree from BUV, ensuring all three special criteria that the Government and world leaders are looking for: English proficiency, global quality accreditation and global competitive advantage from skills, thinking and social awareness".
According to Professor Raymond Gordon, BUV is the first university in Vietnam to achieve QAA international certification (issued by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education) and QS 5-star international certification (issued by Quacquarelli Symonds Education Quality Assurance Organization) for the aspects of Teaching Quality, Employment Opportunities, Academic Development, Facilities, Social Activities, Equality - Inclusion.
In addition, the school has specially designed for students the Personal and Social Skills Development Program (PSG) with the mission of creating a young generation that is comprehensively developed in many aspects. Each student is advised to build a highly personalized roadmap, based on the 4 core areas that PSG offers, including: Work and career preparation; Leadership and connection skills; Social, cultural and emotional capacity; Supporting and enhancing learning capacity. In addition, BUV's campus and teaching facilities system has also been invested up to 165 million USD for 3 phases until 2028, to bring a comprehensive learning experience to students.
