Displaying more than 400 images and artifacts about the 50-year journey of Can Tho literature and art

Many young people understand more about the humanistic value of Can Tho's cultural and artistic achievements after the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country through hundreds of images, artifacts and documents.

On April 1, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City coordinated with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Can Tho City to organize a thematic exhibition and photo exhibition of Can Tho Literature and Arts - 50-year journey (1975 - 2025).

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City - said that in Can Tho, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Can Tho City, formerly known as the Hau Giang Literature and Arts Association, was established on June 2, 1976. It is an organization of literary and artistic activities established early in the provinces of the Mekong Delta after the liberation of the South.

After nearly 50 years of formation and development, Can Tho literature and art have been active, leaving many good marks, enriching spiritual life, meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of people during the period of national construction and development.

"Visitors will be able to see with their own eyes more than 300 images, artifacts, and documents about the outstanding achievements of Can Tho's culture and arts after the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

And 100 images introduce outstanding achievements in labor and literary and artistic creation in Can Tho since 1975 until now. From there, visitors can better understand the cultural and artistic values ​​of the land and people of Tay Do," said Mr. Tuan.

The photo exhibition is open to visitors from now until April 5 at the Can Tho City Museum (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City). After that, the photo collection will be exhibited at the Hung King Temple (Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City), serving the people and tourists who come to visit the temple.
