With the desire to get rich on their homeland, farmers in Muong Thanh field (Than Uyen district, Lai Chau) boldly planted Ha Den grapes on a pilot basis, with 500 grape trees on an area of 2,000m2. After 1 year of planting, Ha Den grapes began to yield, with good fruit quality, beautiful appearance, and few pests and diseases. After 5 years of taking root, the Ha Den grape growing model has now expanded to 1.6ha, generating revenue 3-4 times higher than rice cultivation. After that, we discussed and chose to buy grape varieties at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry to bring back to Than Uyen to grow. After 1 year of planting, the grape plants have yielded fruit. We realized that growing Black Summer grapes brings high economic efficiency, so we, along with some farmers around here, will expand the grape growing area.
