The report and opinions presented at the conference unanimously assessed: In the first 3 months of the year, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering of the entire army closely followed the Resolution of the Central Military Commission, military and defense tasks; proactively overcame difficulties, and comprehensively deployed logistics and technical tasks.
Notably, it has ensured adequate and timely logistics and technical support for combat readiness tasks, training, welcoming the Lunar New Year, receiving new soldiers' training, A50 tasks, etc. Plan 1228/KH-BQP (completing the merger of the General Department of Logistics and the General Department of Engineering and reorganizing into the General Department of Logistics and Engineering) has been well implemented, ensuring strictness and not affecting the task of ensuring logistics and technical support for units throughout the army. The Army Logistics sector's movement to follow Uncle Ho's teachings; implementing the 50 Campaign and implementing key logistics and technical programs, projects, and tasks has been promoted and widely deployed throughout the army; the order and regime of logistics and technical work has been maintained and strictly implemented; the system of warehouses, factories, enterprises, and stations has been ensured to be safe.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the results achieved in logistics and technical work in the first 3 months of 2025; proposing and recommending many solutions to improve the quality of logistics and technical work in the following months.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc praised the achievements of the Logistics and Engineering sector of the entire army since the beginning of the year. In order to successfully complete the tasks of the second quarter and the whole year of 2025, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested that agencies and units do a good job of ensuring logistics and engineering for units performing combat readiness, drills, search and rescue tasks; especially ensuring tasks A50, A80, and training new soldiers.
Focus on synchronously implementing measures to prevent and control summer epidemics, food hygiene and safety, and prevent and combat heatstroke, especially during the changing seasons, ensuring that 98.5% or more of the army is healthy. Create sources for purchasing logistics and technical materials for missions, especially specialized goods, medicines, chemicals, medical supplies; specialized gasoline and oil, etc.
Strictly implement the work of ensuring the safety of weapons, ammunition, and fuel depots; fire prevention and fighting in the Army. Continue to strictly implement Circular No. 141/TT-BQP dated November 12, 2021 of the Minister of National Defense on the management and use of technical equipment in the Vietnam People's Army and the Militia and Self-Defense Forces. Strictly implement instructions, guidelines, and regulations on the management and use of combat-ready weapons and ammunition; organize the handling of level 5 ammunition to ensure strict compliance with regulations.
The Head of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering also noted that the Logistics and Engineering sectors at all levels should proactively do a good job of advising and proposing to report to the Ministry of National Defense and submit to the Government for permission to amend Decree No. 76/2017/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating logistics material standards for active soldiers, workers and defense officials.
Along with that, units throughout the army focus on strengthening training and logistics and technical training for officers and employees at all levels to meet mission requirements in the new situation.
