Awarding the 2023 Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Building Press Award

On the morning of February 2, the Provincial Party Committee organized the award ceremony for the 2023 Party Building Journalism Award (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) of Vinh Phuc province.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Pham Hoang Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Building Journalism Award; Le Duy Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Responding to the 8th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) in 2023 launched by the Central Organizing Committee, on April 12, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued a plan to organize the Press Award on Party Building in Vinh Phuc province in 2023.

Although it is the first year of implementation, with the close and regular direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the active participation of press agencies, reporters, editors, and collaborators, the 2023 Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Building Press Award attracted a large number of journalists from provincial press agencies and a number of central press agencies and magazines such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, Elderly Magazine, Electronic Environmental Industry Magazine, etc.

The Organizing Committee received 595 press works participating in the contest with diverse topics, themes, content and forms. Most of the works that entered the final round showed careful investment, many were long-term works with good topics, polished and coherent sentences, creating appeal, inspiring and spreading effects to readers.

As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 45 outstanding press works in the following categories: Print, electronic, radio, television and press photos to award 3 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 14 C prizes and 20 Encouragement prizes and send them to participate in the 8th National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2023.

Honoring Vinh Phuc province, at the 8th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award ceremony held on the evening of February 1, the work "Innovation of the Party's leadership method from Vinh Phuc's perspective" by author Thu Thuy, Vinh Phuc Newspaper was honored to win the B prize.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Hoang Anh highly appreciated the results achieved in the first year of implementing the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Building Journalism Award. He suggested that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - the standing agency of the award, receive comments and suggestions to gain experience and advise the Organizing Committee to continue to improve the criteria and standards in selecting works.

The 2nd Press Award - 2024 needs to closely follow the key points of Party building work. Party committees and organizations at all levels should focus on leadership, direction, and creating conditions for press agencies, reporters, and collaborators to further increase articles on advanced models, good people, good deeds; new models, good and creative practices; fight to prevent and repel degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; prevent and combat corruption, negativity, and waste.

Proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, encouraging spirit, and arousing development aspirations among cadres, party members and people in the spirit of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
