Equipping digital capacity for 300 education managers at all levels

This is an important event organized to equip more digital capacity for the management staff of the industry, enhance the capacity to apply information technology and promote the digital transformation process in education and training in Da Nang City in the period of 2022-2025, towards 2030, as well as meet the set of indicators to assess the level of digital transformation of Decision No. 4725/QD-BGDDT dated December 30, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Overview of the workshop "Equipping digital capacity for education managers"

The program was attended by more than 300 teachers who are leaders and managers from departments under the Department of Education and Training, along with representatives of principals of primary, secondary, high schools and continuing education centers in Da Nang City.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Pham Tan Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, said that since 2022, the city's education sector has deployed the education sector's database software based on the Ministry of Education and Training's database software; organized digital signatures of student assessment monitoring books, summary tables of education assessment results and digital transcripts of primary, secondary and vocational education students; implemented the 2018 General Education Program; enrolled in grades 1, 6 and 10 based on the education sector's database.

Mr. Pham Tan Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, spoke at the workshop.

According to Mr. Thuy, the implementation has achieved many results so far, meeting the development requirements of the education and training sector. "Digital transformation aims to gradually innovate and improve the quality of education and management activities. The workshop will be held with two main contents. Teachers will have a clearer view of digital transformation in education management from the reporters," Mr. Thuy emphasized.

At the workshop, experts shared practical overviews of digital capacity and the roadmap for equipping digital capacity for school leaders, referring to the Unesco Digital Capacity Framework and Decision No. 4725/QD-BGDDT dated December 30, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, digital thinking and digital practice capacity are identified as prerequisites for digital transformation of teaching and learning methods to meet the set of indicators for assessing the level of digital transformation of the Ministry of Education and Training.

More than 300 education managers and teachers at all levels in Da Nang City are equipped with digital capacity.

More than 300 delegates were shared by experts in detail from the design and construction of interactive digital lectures, standards and methods for building digital learning materials in modern teaching methods, digital transformation in teaching and assessment, application of artificial intelligence in teaching and building digital learning materials, building and operating digital schools. The sharing of experts will create opportunities for education managers to improve their digital capacity, access advanced technology solutions and share practical experiences in teaching and education management in key areas of the Central region.

The workshop "Equipping digital capacity for education managers" was organized by the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, Bach Khoa Science and Technology Group Joint Stock Company in collaboration with iYES International Education and Wemaster Creative Education Company, Dong A University.
