… These are the photos, the words and the deep feelings that he left for the Party Committee and the people of Vinh Phuc province; these are the words of advice… forever imprinted ; these are the priceless assets and spiritual values that the Party Committee and the people of Vinh Phuc cherish and preserve throughout time to live, work and study following his example.
In the letter dated May 18, 1965 , the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee sent to congratulate Uncle Ho on his birthday, there was a passage: “Dear Uncle Ho. Dear Uncle, on the occasion of your 75th birthday anniversary, on behalf of the Party Committee and people of the province, we are very happy to wish you good health and a long life; at the same time, on the occasion of celebrating your birthday, we would like to report to you some of the achievements of Vinh Phuc province in the four years of implementing the first five-year plan…”.
The nearly 6-page letter that the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee sent to Uncle Ho was filled with deep nostalgia , respect, and excitement in reporting the results and achievements in agricultural and industrial development, consolidating cooperatives, building national defense, etc. It was a flower offered to Uncle Ho on his 75th birthday.
And there are many letters from the Party Committee and people in the province respectfully sent to Uncle Ho on his birthdays with endless love and affection. The affection of cadres, party members and people of Vinh Phuc for Uncle Ho burned like the fire that Uncle Ho lit and guided in the journey of fighting to defend the country. Under the glorious flag, cadres, party members and people of Vinh Phuc reviewed Uncle Ho's contributions to the revolution and vowed to unite, strive to study and follow Uncle Ho's example of diligence, thrift, integrity, uprightness, impartiality, and revolutionary morality... from that day as well as now, forever here!
During his lifetime, although he was busy with many tasks of the Party, State and Government , Uncle Ho always gave the people of the whole country in general and the people of Vinh Phuc province in particular his deep concern and close , loving feelings. From 1945 to 1963 , Vinh Phuc province was honored to welcome Uncle Ho 8 times to visit, encourage and direct the work, especially during the visit on March 2, 1963, he advised: "We must make Vinh Phuc one of the richest and most prosperous provinces in the North of our country".
The Party Committee and people of Vinh Phuc were also praised by Uncle Ho many times in letters of praise or commendation in the press whenever the province achieved outstanding achievements in production and combat, such as: Letter to the elders, dignitaries and all the people of Phuc Yen province who had achievements in participating in the resistance war for national construction, dated July 16, 1947; Letter of praise for the Thuong village cooperative, Tuan Chinh commune, Vinh Tuong district for achieving high rice productivity, dated March 2, 1966; Uncle Ho wrote in Nhan Dan Newspaper No. 2839 dated December 30, 1961 praising and propagating the "experience" multiplied into a typical advanced model of the tree planting movement in Lac Trung village, Vinh Tuong district ...
In the memoirs of Mr. Phan Dinh , former official of the Department of Culture of Vinh Phuc province - The person assigned to take documentary photos to serve the local political propaganda work and to take photos of Uncle Ho, he wrote:
“… The night before Uncle Ho returned, I was very nervous , preparing the camera, checking the speed, getting the film, mentally preparing what to take, how to take it to achieve good results, I was so confused, I couldn't sleep…
Uncle Ho has passed away , but for me, remembering the times I took his picture, I am very honored and happy. those are precious memories that I can never forget during my career and I will always remember the first time I took a picture of Uncle Ho. Uncle Ho made it easy for me to take a picture of him, I will always remember his eyes and smile, nodding to let me take a picture.
Today, every time I pick up my camera, I remember that sacred moment and promise myself to live and work better to be worthy of the sympathetic smile that Uncle Ho rewarded me with that day.
Looking at the photos that author Phan Dinh took of Uncle Ho when he visited Phuc Yen town on December 21, 1958; the photo of Uncle Ho visiting and talking to the people in the province on March 2, 1963 or the photos of Uncle Ho visiting the countryside of Vinh Phuc such as Lac Trung Cooperative , Binh Duong commune, Vinh Tuong district; Tan Phong commune , Binh Xuyen district ; Lai Son Cooperative, Ha Tien pagoda , Vinh Yen city; Tam Dao resort construction site... writers like us are choked with emotion, as if we were seeing Uncle Ho one more time to absorb his teachings.
In each photo, we seem to see each of his footsteps still here, the father of the nation in simple clothes, wearing a sand hat, simple khaki clothes and the rare, precious moments of him with the people of Lai Son cooperative, the people of Tan Phong commune or Phuc Yen town at that time. Uncle Ho kindly asked about people at the well of Mr. Phan Tuat's house, along the village roads shaded by cool green trees, and went to the simple thatched houses of the villagers.
One time when Uncle Ho visited and wished the people of Tan Phong commune a Happy New Year, he went to Mr. Them's house. A poor single farmer's household, then Uncle Ho went to Mrs. Dang's house. - a base for hiding cadres during the resistance war, Uncle Ho visited many households to inspect their living facilities...
In the places where Uncle Ho set foot, the countryside has changed, developed, life is prosperous and happy , but the works, artifacts and images of Uncle Ho are still intact in the hearts of every person here. Everyone is moved when talking about Uncle Ho... His simplicity and devotion at that time have gone deep into the sacred memories of every Vinh Phuc citizen.
Before Uncle Ho's 133rd birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), every heart of Vinh Phuc people is filled with tears remembering Uncle Ho, seeing the memory of Uncle Ho visiting his homeland again, is also an opportunity for us to express our feelings and gratitude to our beloved Uncle Ho, working together to study and work hard to fulfill his wish : "Must make Vinh Phuc one of the richest and most prosperous provinces in the North of our country". His immense heart is forever in our hearts!
