The program has the participation of artisans and extras from Hin village, Chieng An ward, City and Ta So village, Chieng Hac commune, Moc Chau district.
The artisans and actors created a unique cultural space of the Thai and Mong ethnic groups by introducing and performing the Thai Xoe dance, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; and the art of decorative patterns on traditional costumes of the Mong ethnic group - a national intangible cultural heritage.
In addition, people and tourists can also experience the unique cultural features of the two ethnic groups such as: Thai ethnic cuisine; pounding rice cakes, cooking thang co of the Mong ethnic group; participating in xoe dance, bamboo dance; walking on stilts, throwing pao...; enjoying attractive performances imbued with national cultural identity.
The activities attracted a large number of students, people in the city, and tourists from inside and outside the province to visit, experience, and learn about the culture of Son La's ethnic groups.
This is an activity regularly organized by the Provincial Museum, aiming to widely promote the unique traditional culture of Son La ethnic groups. At the same time, it contributes to educating knowledge of history, national traditions, raising awareness and knowledge of cultural values for the community, students, youth in the province and visitors.
Also on September 17, Son La Provincial Museum organized propaganda about sovereignty over seas, islands, land borders and Vietnam's territorial integrity to students of Son La Provincial High School for the Gifted; Chu Van An Primary, Secondary and High School; and Binh Minh International Primary, Secondary and High School.
