On the evening of November 27, the fair "Promoting trade for the collective and cooperative economic sector in 2024 (Southern region)" opened at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City), attracting the participation of more than 180 booths.
The event was organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in coordination with related units, lasting from November 27 to December 3, bringing together 37 provincial and municipal cooperative alliances and 34 enterprises nationwide.
Featured products include fresh agricultural products, organic foods, regional specialties, handicrafts, high-tech agricultural equipment, etc. In particular, all meet quality standards such as VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and the OCOP program (One Commune One Product program).
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, said that the fair is not only a place to display products but also organizes many trade promotion activities. Participating in the fair, cooperatives will have the opportunity to connect supply and demand, sign cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign enterprises. In addition, the program also supports consulting on credit capital, business expansion and technology application.
In particular, this year's event has the participation of digital platforms such as TikTok, supporting units to promote products online and reach customers more effectively. Therefore, Mr. Cuong encouraged booths to send representatives to coordinate with the media team to achieve the highest efficiency.
