Proud, continue to build the homeland

The 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day is not only a time for us to express our gratitude for the heroic feats and sacrifices of our ancestors in the struggle for national independence and freedom, but also an opportunity for us to look back on the proud half-century journey and the remarkable achievements of the province in all fields, including education. Previous generations have devoted themselves to the journey of eliminating illiteracy, providing supplementary education to the people, and then building a system of education from kindergarten, high school, and teacher training colleges... for the noble cause of educating people.

Up to now, the provincial Education and Training sector has made steady progress, the scale of education has been expanded with more than 500 schools, meeting the increasing learning needs of society. Modern and synchronous facilities have been invested; comprehensive education quality has been improved; key education has had positive changes; education in mountainous areas and ethnic minorities has received attention. It can be said that each school built, each educational "sweet fruit" that we reap is a clear demonstration of the will to rise and the spirit of solidarity of the entire Party, government and people in the province.

I believe that, with the attention of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, organizations, and the intellectual contributions and efforts of the people, the province's education career will continue to make strides, reap many achievements, and gradually integrate internationally.

As one of the people who directly participated in the liberation of Khanh Hoa province, in these historic days of April, I and many people in the province returned to the heroic past exactly 50 years ago. At that time, I was a commander of Company 1, heroic Special Forces Battalion 470, standing on the mission of fighting the enemy, expanding the political movement, supporting the people in the North Khanh Hoa area (Ninh Hoa - Van Ninh). I am very proud that I personally contributed to the great victory of liberating Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.

Looking back on the development journey of the country in general and Khanh Hoa province in particular, I am very happy and proud of the leadership of the Party, the State and the province that has brought Nha Trang from the desolation of war to strong development, the people's lives are prosperous and happy as today. I am very confident that with the direct leadership of the Party, the State and the team of dedicated, dynamic cadres, the consensus of the people, the country in general and Khanh Hoa province in particular will develop remarkably in the coming time.

I was not born in Khanh Hoa, but this place has become my second hometown - where I studied, grew up and chose to stay and contribute. I am very impressed by the province's strong growth in recent years. Not only is the urban infrastructure increasingly modern, but key economic sectors such as tourism, industry, technology... have also developed remarkably. Khanh Hoa today is a different image - dynamic, creative, aspirational and full of vitality, not only looking out to the sea but also growing strongly with a long-term, modern and sustainable vision.

I hope Khanh Hoa will continue to promote its great potential, not only as a national tourism center but also as a center for innovation, science and technology, high-quality education and healthcare in the region and the whole country. * Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai - Loi Thinh residential group, Cam Loi ward, Cam Ranh city: Cam Ranh is growing strongly.

On April 3, 1975, Cam Ranh was liberated. Coming out of the war, Cam Ranh was severely affected. Like other localities in the province, the Party Committee, government and people of Cam Ranh have overcome all difficulties and challenges, been proactive, creative, and quickly adapted to the new mechanism on the development path, achieving many great achievements in the cause of innovation. Up to now, Cam Ranh has grown strongly, with the urban infrastructure system gradually being completed; effectively promoting the strengths of the marine economy; many production and business establishments have been invested in and developed with modern technology...

Hopefully, in the coming time, the city leaders will focus on mobilizing comprehensive resources to invest in developing urban and cultural infrastructure, calling for investment in urban projects, especially speeding up the progress of the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area Project to create development momentum for the city.

Looking back over the 50 years since liberation, I am very excited and proud of the province's continuous and strong development. These achievements are thanks to the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Party, the Provincial Party Committee and the effective management and administration of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee; the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and patriotic emulation of the majority of cadres, party members and all people in the province.

Currently, along with the whole country, the province is focusing on streamlining the organizational apparatus; at the same time, making many important decisions and strategies in socio-economic development with the goal of soon turning Khanh Hoa into a centrally-run city by 2030. We are also aware of our responsibility to constantly promote the revolutionary tradition, set an example, and educate the younger generation to strive and make efforts to contribute to building our homeland to be more prosperous and civilized.

* Mrs. Mau Thi Thuy - Raglai ethnic group in Son Binh commune (Khanh Son district): Unite to build the homeland

I am proud that my hometown is the revolutionary base of the province, the land of the Heroes of the People's Armed Forces: Bo Bo Toi, Cao Van Be. Born and raised after the country's reunification, we always remember the merits of the previous generations of fathers and brothers who fought bravely and sacrificed to liberate the province, liberate the South, and unify the country.

In recent years, with the attention and investment of the Party and the State, the appearance of Khanh Son mountainous district in general and Son Binh commune in particular has become much more prosperous and spacious. The material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities in the commune has changed significantly when the poverty rate of the whole commune is only 11.2%, the average income per capita reaches nearly 50 million VND/year, more than 80% of workers have regular jobs; families with housing difficulties are supported by the State to build new and repair houses; 100% of village roads and alleys are concreted... In early 2025, Son Binh commune was recognized as meeting new rural standards, Khanh Son district was recognized by the Prime Minister as escaping from poverty.

Following the tradition of their fathers and elders, the ethnic minorities in Son Binh commune will unite, strive to develop production, strive to improve themselves to have a prosperous and happy life; join hands to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Looking back on the past, from a heroic land during the war, Khanh Hoa has grown strongly, becoming an important economic, tourism and industrial center of the South Central region. As a businessman born and raised in this land, I am proud to witness the daily changes of my homeland, from modern infrastructure, urban development to effective investment attraction policies.
