Ho Chi Minh City won the ASOCIO 2023 Digital Government Excellence Award

On November 14, at the ASOCIO Digital Summit in Korea, Ho Chi Minh City was awarded the ASOCIO 2023 Award for Outstanding Digital Government by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO).

Ho Chi Minh City was awarded this award for its outstanding results in implementing digital strategies and solutions to significantly improve the quality of services for people and make the city government's operations transparent.

At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City is recognized as one of the typical cities applying smart technology to effectively serve key areas such as transportation, healthcare, education and providing public services to people.

The efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City government in innovating the way of providing public services and utilities to people and businesses contribute to the government's operations.

Ho Chi Minh City has innovated its service methods, listening, recording opinions and handling people's recommendations through the information portal, App and hotline 1022 increasingly effectively.

The ASOCIO 2023 Award is a recognition of the continuous efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City government in implementing digital transformation and building a digital government. The Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Organization presented the ASO CIO 2023 Award to 52 units from 9 countries and territories at the ASOCIO Digital Government World Summit 2023.

The 2023 Awards include 8 groups: Outstanding Technology Company Award, Digital Transformation Award, Digital Government Award, Education Technology Award, Medical Technology Award, Cybersecurity Award, Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) Award, and Startup Award.
