Visit and encourage armed forces of Phuoc Son district to support the demolition of temporary houses

At Phuoc Chanh commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Phuoc Son District Military Command and Phuoc Chanh Commune Military Command (each worth 2 million VND). These are the two units that are providing human resources to help Mr. Ho Van Giang's family (village 4) build a new house.

Mr. Giang is a poor household, currently living alone, unable to work. Mr. Giang's new house is expected to include a living room, a bedroom and ancillary works. The cost of purchasing materials is 60 million VND from the Temporary Housing Elimination Fund; the Phuoc Son District Military Command and the Phuoc Chanh Commune Military Command support all construction labor days.

According to the assignment of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, the Phuoc Son District Military Command was assigned to support human resources to eliminate 13 temporary houses (5 new houses were built and 8 houses were repaired). The unit representative said that now is the hot season so they will focus on the peak, completing the work ahead of the assigned schedule.

* At Phuoc Kim commune, the working delegation visited and presented gifts to the Commune Police and the Phuoc Kim Commune Military Command (each gift worth 2 million VND).

In Phuoc Kim commune, there are currently 13 families in need of support to remove temporary houses. Armed forces units, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the commune are striving to remove temporary houses, contributing to ensuring that people can soon settle down and have a good life.
