Authorities regularly patrol and monitor the area to promptly address any forest fire incidents when detected.

To ensure safe conditions for forest fire prevention, the Provincial Forest Protection Department requests that communes, wards, and towns strengthen propaganda to the people on safe fire use in farming; absolutely no burning of fields, clearing of undergrowth, and other activities using fire in or near forests when the forest fire risk is level 4 or 5. Assign standby forces and promptly mobilize forces according to the "four on-the-spot" principle when forest fires occur or when fires threaten to spread into the forest.

Hoang Lien National Park, Hoang Lien Van Ban Nature Reserve, Bat Xat, and forest owners shall implement forest fire prevention and control measures according to the coordinated plan and approved scheme.
