Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 18 of the 2016 Law on Pharmacy, the conditions for the person responsible for professional pharmacy duties at a pharmacy are as follows:
The person in charge of pharmacy expertise must have a professional degree in Pharmacy (called a Pharmacist degree) and 2 years of professional practice at a suitable pharmacy facility.
A person with a college degree in Pharmacy can only become a person in charge of Pharmacy at a pharmacy after having 18 months of professional practice at a suitable Pharmacy facility.

This major only enrolls students by one method, which is to consider high school transcripts. The application and admission period is continuous throughout the year from March to December 2024.
Saigon College of Medicine and Pharmacy uses the admission method for candidates who have graduated from high school, with no subject below 1.0 points (no limit on graduation year).
