This morning, April 17, the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the Vietnam National Mine Action Center (VNMAC), held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the Online Contest on Mine and Explosive Risk Education on the VNMAC website.

The online contest on mine and explosive risk education on the VNMAC website for teachers and primary and secondary school students in Quang Tri province took place from February 26 to March 25, 2024. After nearly 1 month of implementation, the contest received the active participation of nearly 40,000 candidates across the province.

This is a healthy, interesting and useful playground for teachers and primary and secondary school students. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness of the harmful effects of bombs, mines and explosives and equipping more skills to prevent bomb and mine accidents, promoting the prevention of bomb and mine accidents for students, teachers in particular and the community in general, together building a safe living environment.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 46 prizes to students and teachers with high achievements in the competition, including 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 30 consolation prizes.
