General Director of Vietnam Television appointed Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee

The Politburo decided to assign Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, General Director of Vietnam Television, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee.

This morning (October 31), Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the decision to Mr. Le Ngoc Quang.

At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Mr. Le Ngoc Quang.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated the new Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and expressed his belief that Mr. Le Ngoc Quang and the collective leadership, people, and armed forces in the province will unite and strive to successfully complete the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Quang Binh Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, and doing a good job of preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang affirmed that in his new position, he will work with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee to continuously strive to bring Quang Binh province to continue developing, worthy of the trust and support of the Party Committee, government and people.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born on January 21, 1974, hometown Thieu Duong commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

He used to hold the positions of Deputy Head of News Department and Head of News Department of Vietnam Television.

On November 11, 2019, the Prime Minister signed a Decision to appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Quang to the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television.

In December 2019, he concurrently served as a member of the National Traffic Safety Committee.

In January 2020, he concurrently served as a member of the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Control and Prevention of Social Evils, Drugs and Prostitution.

On August 18, 2020, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Television for the 2020 - 2025 term.

At the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
